The Pilot Place is pleased to announce our CFI Academy. The CFI Academy is designed to build fundamental knowledge and develop teaching skills. The FAA has already certified that you are a competent commercial and instrument-rated pilot; our job is to ensure that you become a quality aviation instructor.

What makes The Pilot Place CFI Academy different is that you can train around your schedule. We provide group classes twice weekly and individual instruction is provided when you are available. If you miss a group class, you can wait until that class is scheduled again or you can request one on one training to keep the pace you desire.

Private Pilot Ground School

The Pilot Place Ground School for private pilots is an ideal study program for those who are looking to obtain their Private Pilot’s license. Our professional instructors, facilities, and training aids are designed for pilot instruction. We use audiovisual aids to supplement classroom instruction and provide individual computer-based instruction.

The use of our proven training syllabus is an effective way to lead you through the proper steps to learn to fly safely.
